非开挖技术助力印度抗击疫情 2021-05-10

BRPL正在使用非开挖技术在印度重要的Sardar Patel COVID护理中心和医院建立电源基础设施。

Trenchless helps power COVID hospital

BRPL is using trenchless technology to set up power infrastructure at the major Sardar Patel COVID Care Centre and Hospital in India.

According to IANSLive, BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (BRPL) will be setting up power infrastructure at Delhi’s 10,000-bed COVID hospital.

BRPL had initially been entrusted to provide an electric load of 18 MW; however, after considering the requirements, the power-load has now been increased to 23 MW.

To establish the infrastructure, BRPL will lay four dedicated 11 KV feeders underground with a length of around 5 km each, totalling approximately 22 km using trenchless technology.

Additionally, 24 distribution transformers and 4 substations will be installed to set up the 25 MVA capacity across four locations in the premises.

The facility will get electricity from BSES’ Fatehpur Beri Grid, with sufficient redundancy to ensure that even if one of the lines trips, the power-load can be routed from the alternate line.

“For catering to this massive load requirement, over 100 discom officials and workers are working round-the-clock under the direct supervision of the company’s senior leadership team and in close coordination with the government and other departments,” BRPL’s parent company BSES said in a statement.

The project is expected to be commissioned in early July.
